We believe this because God’s word speaks to transformation.

In Ezekiel 36:26, 27 God says:

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

In Romans 8:10, 11 we read:

If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

And Galatians 5:24, 25 tells us:

Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Yes, we believe in transformation because of the testimony of His word, but we also believe in transformation because we have experienced it personally. We know who we were in days past and live with gratitude for the work He has done in us. Daily He shapes us more and more in the image of His Son Jesus Christ. We believe in transformation not because we are perfect, but we are indeed being made perfect daily, in Christ.

We believe that, if you are willing, Jesus Christ can transform you, too.
