And if you give yourself to the hungry
And satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
Then your light will rise in darkness
And your gloom will become like midday.

We are actively engaged in laboring for the LORD, participating in the work that consumed our LORD and Savior during His sojourn on this side of eternity. He was sent to deliver a message of hope to the hungry, the homeless, the helpless, and we believe that we, too, are to be so engaged. In addition to cooking and preparing food for those who must scrounge for their next meal, we look to partner with others, be they individuals, families, or congregations, who would like to do the same. We want to strategize with sympathetic souls to figure out together how we can get warm clothing and bedding for those who need it; how we can help find shelter for those on our sidewalks and parks.
